In EQUALITY INTO REALITY: Action for Diversity and Non-Discrimination in Iceland the authors focus on the extent to which anti-discriminiation law in Iceland meets the current requirements of EU law. It is a significant contribution to studies in the convergence of the laws of the European Economic Area States in an important field, even though there is no strictly legal obligation for the EEA States to implement this body of law.
The book is divided into two parts. Part I outlines the basic requirements of current EU anti-discrimination law and Part II goes on to assess current Icelandic law in light of the EU position.
This book will be of interest to everyone concerned with combating discrimination.
